Nigeria is endowed with more than 40 natural resources that can be discovered in various sections of the country, in addition to crude oil, which accounts for over 90% of its revenue.

According to OPEC, Natural gas, tin, iron ore, coal, limestone, niobium, lead, zinc, arable land, and petroleum are only some of Nigeria’s numerous natural resources.

How Do Natural Resources Work?

Natural resources are those that exist on the planet naturally and can be mined to create completed goods for human consumption in order to produce money.

These resources are plentiful in Nigeria and are dispersed throughout the various states. If they are harnessed and used effectively, they can accelerate the nation’s economic development.

Most of the country’s natural resources have been neglected or left unused, stunting its economic growth. 

One such case is Nigeria, which has a wealth of natural resources that might be very attractive to investors.
