If you’re interested in viewing a private Instagram profile, there are a few steps you can take.
First, try searching for the person on Google. If that doesn’t work, try looking through mutual friends’ Instagram profiles.
If you still can’t find the person you’re looking for, you can try creating a fake Instagram account and requesting to follow them.
Finally, if all else fails, you can try using a third-party app as a private Instagram viewer. The app InstaPrivacy is one option; it’s available for both Android and iOS devices.
The downside is that this will allow the person who created the private account to know your IP address – which could lead to harassment or stalking.
The key takeaway here is not to use these apps if you don’t want people who created private accounts knowing your IP address.
Step 1: Click Browse on the Instagram Homepage
You can find the Browse option on the Instagram homepage, near the top of the screen. When you click it, you’ll see a feed of popular photos and videos from all over Instagram.
If you don’t like what you see, click out of this page and go back to the homepage by clicking on your browser’s address bar.
Once you’ve clicked Browse, you should be able to scroll down as much as you want (there is no cap). To access private profiles, though, scroll right into Explore.
Explore is more popular than ordinary search because other users add posts here that they think are especially awesome – including lots of private profile pictures.
Step 2: Select People from the Search Options Section
The second step is to select people from the search options section.
You can either do this by clicking on the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen or by pressing the People tab at the bottom of the screen.
Once you’re in the People section, you can use the search bar to find specific users or browse through the suggested users.
For example, if I wanted to see who matched my criteria for females between the ages of 20 and 25 who have posted a selfie with their dog, I would type females between 20-25 years old with a dog into the search bar.
If someone has blocked their profile so that it’s not visible to anyone except those they are following then it will not show up under your search results.
However, there are other ways you can still view their profile. For example, if they have their profile set as public then you will be able to access their feed and posts by scrolling down your timeline until you see the post about them or if they are a friend of yours then once again just scroll down your timeline until you see their post.
Step 3: Enter their Username or Email Address in the Search Field
Now that you have the person’s username or email address, you can enter it into the search field.
Just type in their username or email address and hit enter. If the person has a private profile, you should see their profile come up in the search results.
To view their posts, click on their username or email address.
You’ll be taken to a page where you can then click on Photos from the left-hand navigation bar.
To view their posts, just select Posts from the list of options on the right-hand side of the screen.
If they don’t have a private profile, you’ll get an error message saying No Results Found. However, if they do have a private profile, you will be able to browse through all of their photos.
Step 4: Press Enter on your Keyboard.

If they have a public account, you’ll also be able to see how many followers they have and who they’re following.

To get around this issue, you can use an app like Viewpics which allows users to tap into other accounts that are either hidden or blocked.
The downside of using View Pics is that it requires an iOS device with an internet connection and has a small monthly fee associated with it.
Alternatively, there are other sites like Instaspy which allow you to take screenshots of private profiles without having to log in first- something we do not recommend doing since it violates Instagram’s terms of service.
All you need to do is enter the user’s username, wait for them to load up, hit Enter and your screenshot should show up in your email inbox.
All these methods work pretty well as long as you know what social media site the person in question uses.
There are plenty of free tools out there that allow you to track someone down across multiple platforms- simply type an online tracker into Google Search and a list of possibilities should pop up for you.
