- Download, Install or Launch the Instagram application on your phone, you will get redirected to the homepage
- Click the profile icon () directly the bottom-left corner of your Instagram application, you can check the annotated image below for better understanding
- On your profile page, click the 3 dashes (MENU ICON) directly at the top right corner.
- Locate and tap discover people, you will be redirected to a find people page
- On the find people page, tap “CONTACTS” then click on the “connect contacts” button
- You will receive a pop-up notification from Instagram telling you “Allow Instagram to access your contacts?”
- Now, tick Don’t ask again and tap allow
After granting access, Instagram will completely sync your contacts. Check if they have an account with them, if they have, you will see a list of active users displaced.
